CASO UMANOThe name was chosen because here I want to be free to be myself.Every human being is a case.I am a case.Human.Just like you are.The meaning of the Italian expression “caso umano”, as you find it when searching the web, is the following:“The expression ‘caso umano’ is used colloquially to describe an eccentric, problematic or socially inadequate person, whose behaviour is so unusual or difficult to understand that they seem like a subject to be studied.”In my project, Caso Umano, I would like to be:Eccentric:off-center, outside the rules, unconventional.Fantastic, isn’t it?Problematic:everyone is, in their own small way or in their own big way.A problematic person is someone who has problems with the rest of the world (don’t you?) or creates problems. How beautiful it is to cause problems with music and words.Socially inadequate:are you “adequate”?God, I would never want, deep down, to be adequate to this society.I try to live with it. I try to survive it.But society implies rules for living together.Out there, we all try to follow the rules, but in our own lives, each of us lives a life of our own, like a savage, in tiny things or in enormous doses. Here, the rules are made for boredom-prison. Let’s talk a little about anti-social truths, like when you have a few drinks and let yourself go.Unusual:the gift of art to the cosmo-prison.Difficult to understand:but only for those who close their ears, or worse, their soul.I want to be myself. To say what I cannot socially say, to try to go beyond, to look at the absurdity of everyday life, of the human condition, of existence and of existence within society.Where does form end, the clothes we wear, and where does the human being begin — the substance, the truth? And I want to do it by travelling along the imaginary paths of music, on its tracks, on journeys where I place no limits. And by travelling within myself, to find some momentary peace, a rise over the hill, a crest of happiness.
